The courses provided have proven to be both cost effective and time effective for athletes, whilst achieving a good understanding and more importantly achieving athletic improvements. Course Overview

This course is like our NewGen Landing course but specifically focused on the sport of netball.

Highlighting the fundamentals of landing mechanics, force absorption and understanding the anatomical benefits of correct body position, body control and mechanics.

This is a step by step course on absorbing force correctly in multiple directions but vertical force absorption being the main focus. 

On this course athletes will better understand the growing issues of ACL/MCL/LCL and meniscus injuries in netball.

Also on this course the athletes will understand the importance of warmup and cooldowns and how that can reduce injury risk and vastly improve performance if done correctly.

This course is best suited for netball.

This course is aimed towards female athletes.

This Course can be utilized by the athlete as per session for a 6 week course.

All athletes will be assessed in the first and last week to see improvements in mechanics and landing force absorption. 

At the end of the course all athletes/parent will have results send to them and an overview of how to aid them after the course will be highlighted for their ongoing improvements.

This course will be limited to athlete intake numbers.

On announcement of the course dates you will be sent a number of forms and questionnaires to complete as these are a legal requirement and training will not be allowed if these forms are not returned before sessions start.

New Gen Landing

Course Overview

Highlighting the fundamentals of landing mechanics, force absorption and understanding the anatomical benefits of correct body position, body control and mechanics.

This is a step by step course on absorbing force correctly in multiple directions but vertical force absorption being the main focus.

This course is best suited for any sport which requires landing. Netball, Tennis, Martial Arts, Long and Triple Jump, High Jump, Football, Rugby and Volleyball to name a few. 

This Course can utilized by the athlete as per session approach or for the full 12 week course. 

All athletes will be assessed in the first and last week to see improvements in mechanics and landing force absorption. 

At the end of the course all athletes/parent will have results send to them and an overview of how to aid them after the course will be highlighted for their ongoing improvements.

This course will be limited to athlete intake numbers.

What is testing? Why do we need it?

 

To put simply, performance testing is a group of battery tests that are used to measure physical, nutritional and psychological qualities that matter at helping you succeed in performing at your sport. Therefore, the purpose of performance testing is to provide baseline results that we can compare to future results along with providing information on strength and weaknesses along with any potential injury risks.

Qualities such as power, strength, speed and change of direction for example, are important characteristics to a large number of sports and thus tests that measure these are the standard. However, as building robust, injury resilient athletes is just as important as building stronger, faster and agile athletes. There are specific tests that can help flag any potential injury risks. Testing should have a base of testing but also testing relative to the individuals sport. 

Whats Included?

For individual athletes testing is very individulised. This means that depending on the athletes goals and needs that testing protocols can be administered depending on the athlete and their sport.

For teams, we normally offer three tiers of testing. Basic, Advanced and Elite.

Remote testing is for athletes who cannot attend sessions or are in other countries. Testing protocols and assessments can still be administered and we offer a step by step outline to follow to get the best results.

All athletes tested will receive a full assessment via email or post outlining the results and suggested protocols to follow to help their athletic development in the future. Also if you have been an athlete we have tested you are offered discounted rates for any other services we provide like programme design for example.

Testing for teams is usually tested over 2 sessions. There is normally a high physical demand so results would be inaccurate on a single testing session.

At the end of the course all athletes/parent will have results send to them and an overview of how to aid them after the course will be highlighted for their ongoing improvements.

Testing is for any athlete looking to better their athletic performance. Elite level and recreational level.
